Private Chef Tuscany Italy

Massimiliano Giovannoni

Private chef, professional sommelier

Massimiliano Giovannoni is a private chef, culinary graduate, professional Sommelier, and hospitality expert whose passion for food and wine found him living abroad in the U.S. for over ten years. He started working in the hospitality industry here in Tuscany as a teenager and had the opportunity to work alongside some of the top professionals of the industry. In 2010, he began working as the Head Sommelier at Del Posto restaurant in NYC, 4-star New York Times rating, and was part of the team that won the James Beard Award for Excellent Service in 2013. After five years in NYC he moved to Napa, California where he worked alongside celebrity chef Michael Chiarello and became the Beverage Director for his company. While in NYC and Napa, Massimiliano organized private dinners operating as chef and sommelier, showcasing his Tuscan native recipes and pairing them with top Italian wines. In 2017, he moved back to Tuscany where he started working as a private chef full-time. Massi sources his products from local farmers and the local hunters, offering products that would otherwise be impossible to find. He has always been inspired by the moments he spent with his grandmother “Nonna” in the kitchen, in her country home and seeks to recreate this magic for his guests.

Jordana Nicole Giovannoni

artist, photographer, herbalist, writer, mother, italy lover

Jordana, a New York native, grew up in a family of artists and out of the box thinkers. Most notably, her uncle Alexander Rutsch was a famous artist who painted with Picasso, Dali, and Matisse to name a few. Before Alexander passed away, she had the privilege of working alongside him in his studio and learning his philosophy about art and witnessing his different techniques and styles. Since she was a child, Jordana has never stopped painting. At the age of seventeen she began working as a bartender in the Village of NYC. Since then she has worked in the Food and Wine Industry for over twenty years, as sommelier and manager of Italian restaurants in NYC to Estate Ambassador of prestigious wineries in Napa, California. She is a networker, a connector, and a master organizer. Her dream has always been to live in Italy, where she had avidly traveled for over a decade. In 2017 with her husband Massimiliano, that dream has come true. Based in Siena, Tuscany, Jordana has a concierge business helping Italy lovers create focused and curated itineraries for their trip, focusing on but not limited to Tuscany. Her goal is to connect travellers to the non-commercial magic of the Italy she loves. She also teaches painting classes and a kitchen herbals class at the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Montalcino. Since living in Tuscany, she has dived into a lifestyle of foraging and studying Western herbalism. She also teaches private painting classes and wildcrafting experiences in Tuscany.
